This event runs from 3:00pm July 28th to 12:00pm August 1st. Pagans, Friends, Fireflies, and the community from around the world are invited to attend what will become a retreat and conference every five years.

COST
The cost to attend this event is $50 USD for the entire conference or $20 per day. The Saturday murder mystery costume ball is $50 and optional. This does not include travel, food, and lodging costs. There will also be optional sightseeing and tourist excursions planned for the group which are optional, and will also have an additional cost.

VENUE
The location of the event is the Hilton Garden Inn in the Courthouse section of Arlington, Virginia. It is one block from the Courthouse Metro station, which we will use to travel to various field trips.

LODGING
This is really a steal in this location. The cost for a room is $129 per night, not including tax. The amenities include one king or two queen beds, chair with ottoman, large work desk, complimentary High Speed Internet Access, two phones each with two lines and voicemail, refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, iron and ironing board.

For folks coming from out of town, we need to put this in perspective. The average room rate as close as we are to the District of Columbia is $250 to $350 per night. The going rate at this hotel is $189 per night, the hotels within a mile are $269-ish per night, and the cheapest room in the Best Western in the not-the-best part of town is $150 to $199 per night. So, this is really a steal. Bring a friend or two, and it's even cheaper.

FOOD
Within a very sort distance of the hotel, there are many places to eat. On the same block as the hotel, there are four places to grab a bite. Additionally, each room comes with a mini-fridge, a microwave, and a coffee maker.

Below is a list of places to eat within a block or so of the hotel. If you wanted a walk a few blocks there are so many more places to choose from. DC is a melting pot, and one of the great features of this area is all of the different kinds of food that are available. Within a couple of miles of the hotel, there is Mexican, Indian, Moroccan, Afghan, Irish, Japanese, Chinese, Punjabi, and so much more.
